This is the most labour-intensive piece in the store. Thousands of black and white beads are worked by hand into a single circular design, finished with a border of cowrie shells.

Cowrie shells were once used as currency and are still seen across Africa as symbols of prosperity and protection. Paired with monochrome beadwork, they make a statement piece for a home, office or gallery wall.

One piece helps fund a full term of programming for a group of young people. A wall that gives back.
