Privacy notice
Your details are safe with us. Here is exactly how we use them.
How we handle the information you share with us through this website.
Who we are
Mizani Concept ("Mizani", "we") works with young people and educators in Kenya. You can reach us at info@mizaniconcept.org or +254 724 116694.
What we collect
When you place a store order, we also collect your delivery address, phone number and order details so we can confirm payment and ship your items. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, location and message. When you message or donate through WhatsApp or M-Pesa, those services also process your details under their own terms.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and connect you with the right program, partnership or order.
- To arrange camp registrations, school sessions, educator training or field visits you ask about.
- To send a thank-you or receipt for a gift.
We do not sell or share your information for marketing. We only use it for the purpose you contacted us about, on the basis of your consent.
Children and young people
Information about anyone under 18 should be submitted by their parent or guardian. We collect only what we need to register a young person for a program, and we keep it confidential.
How we store it
Form messages are delivered to our email inbox through FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to respond or to run the program you joined, then delete them.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@mizaniconcept.org and we will respond within 14 days. You may also contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
